Emily (Tig) Bridge RD MNutr MSc
Tig graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetic degree, then later, in 2019, with a masters in Advanced Dietetic Practice. She is registered as a Dietitian with the
Health Care Professions Council and is a member of the
British Dietetic Association.
Tig is a skillful and respected health professional having worked across numerous health specialties in the NHS. Her strong and varied clinical experience, knowledge and skills enables her to connect and empower people to make positive dietary changes to improve their health, well-being and lifestyle.
She is able to support clients with a wide variety of clinical conditions including; weight management, cancer, heart disease, diabetes and gastroenterology. She is also considered a leading expert in Burn and complex wound nutritional management.
Her work has taken her to America and Canada, where she gained awareness of private healthcare delivery. Additionally, she has worked at local, regional and national levels to inform nutrition services for people with complex wounds, in both public and charity settings. Tig has consulted for the
Katie Piper Foundation, written for the respected nutrition publication
CN Nutrition and works as a guest lecturer at The University of Nottingham and Coventry University teaching evidence based nutrition in relation to health conditions.
Tig is a passionate Welsh woman from Cardiff, who has made Nottingham her home since moving there for University. In addition to starting up The Dietary Edit in 2020, she also welcomed her first child in February 2020....one could certainly say she does love a challenge!
